2. Liability Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk
Effective February 27, 2026
Cave diving, overhead environment diving, and technical diving are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury, death, or property damage.
Equipment Classification
Products sold by Camazotz Diving are accessories and aids designed to assist properly trained and certified divers. They are NOT life-saving devices. The failure or misuse of this equipment may contribute to dangerous situations that can result in serious injury or death.
Certification Requirement
By purchasing from Camazotz Diving, you affirm that you are a certified diver with appropriate training and experience for the environment in which you intend to use this equipment. This equipment should only be used by certified divers in good standing with a recognized training agency, including but not limited to TDI, IANTD, NSS-CDS, GUE, and NACD.
Voluntary Assumption of Risk
You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with the use of this equipment, even if arising from the negligence of Camazotz Diving. This assumption of risk extends to all activities in which the equipment is used, including but not limited to cave diving, overhead environment diving, open water diving, and technical diving.
Inspection Responsibility
You are solely responsible for inspecting all equipment before every use to ensure it is in proper working condition and suitable for the intended dive. No equipment should be used if it shows signs of damage, excessive wear, or malfunction of any kind.
3D-Printed Product Specifics
Our products are manufactured using additive manufacturing (3D printing), a process that builds objects layer-by-layer. To ensure durability in demanding environments, we exclusively use Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA), a high-performance thermoplastic renowned for its excellent UV, heat, and chemical resistance.
You should be aware of the following characteristics of this manufacturing process:
- Process Characteristics: Material properties of 3D-printed parts differ from injection-molded or machined components. Mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength and impact resistance can vary by orientation and other manufacturing parameters. There is no guarantee of perfectly uniform strength throughout any given part due to the layer-by-layer nature of the process.
- Inspection is Critical: Always inspect equipment before every use for any signs of wear, brittleness, discoloration, cracking, or layer delamination. While ASA is highly durable, proper care and inspection are fundamental to safety.
- Proper Storage: Always store equipment in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to maximize its operational lifespan.
- Do Not Use If Compromised: Do not use any product that appears damaged or compromised in any way. Your safety is your responsibility.
3. Warranty Disclaimer
Effective February 27, 2026
All products are sold "AS IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Camazotz Diving expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that products will meet your specific requirements, perform without interruption, or be free from errors or defects beyond those covered under our defect replacement policy described in the Return & Refund Policy section.
Any product descriptions, specifications, or material data provided on this site are for identification purposes only and do not constitute a warranty or representation that the product will perform in any particular manner.
4. Limitation of Liability
Effective February 27, 2026
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Camazotz Diving, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to: (a) your use of or inability to use the products; (b) any injury, death, or property damage arising from use of the products; or (c) any other matter relating to the products or this site.
In all cases, the total liability of Camazotz Diving to you for any claim arising from or related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Camazotz Diving and its owners, affiliates, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the products, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Jurisdictional Limits
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Return & Refund Policy
Effective February 27, 2026
Because all products are made to order and custom-manufactured for each customer, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges based on buyer preference, fit, or change of mind.
Manufacturing Defects
We stand behind the quality of our products. If your order arrives with a manufacturing defect — including but not limited to structural failure under normal use, significant layer delamination, or material contamination — we will replace the item at no cost to you.
To be eligible for a defect replacement:
- The defect must be reported within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date.
- You must contact us at [email protected] with your order number and clear photographs documenting the defect.
- The defect must be the result of manufacturing, not normal wear, improper storage, misuse, or damage incurred after delivery.
Replacement Process
Approved defect claims will result in a replacement product being manufactured and shipped at no cost. Refunds are not issued in lieu of replacement. Return shipping costs for defective items are covered by Camazotz Diving where a physical return is required.
