Spools are essential cave diving equipment, used for jumps, gaps, tie-offs, and lost-line procedures. Our spools are available in three sizes to cover every scenario you’ll encounter underwater: 50ft for quick jumps and tie-offs, 100ft as the standard workhorse, and 150ft for safety and emergency procedures.

Choose Your Size

50ft Mini Jump Spool - Ultra-compact spool (6.0cm diameter, 21g empty) suitable for short jumps or for minimizing equipment profile.

100ft Standard Jump Spool - The primary all-around spool. At 7.0cm in diameter and 25g empty, it holds sufficient line for most common jumps without being bulky.

150ft Safety Spool - A large-capacity spool (8.8cm diameter, 34g empty) carried for emergency scenarios, such as long-distance searches for a lost guideline.

Threadless Design

To improve reliability and eliminate failure points, the spools feature a screw-free design. We recommend a bit of super glue before you push the halves together. Nothing to snag, break, or corrode.

Standard vs. Custom

Standard spools are produced in matte black.

Custom spools are printed with your choice of markings integrated directly into the part. Options include:

  • Initials or team name
  • Tactile bumps or notches for identification in low visibility
  • Different colors for the center hub, subject to filament availability

Custom color choices do not add to the lead time. Custom initials, markings, or other design modifications may add additional lead time as the model must be modified. Select “Custom” when ordering and enter your personalization details before adding to cart.
